Great tours. Learning about the history and challenges of the local Aboriginal community. Visiting the landscape and historical sites.

Fascinating and great tour guides

I had a group of 13 people that were a combination of both locals and international tourists who were keen to do a tour over the New Years holiday period. I found it surprising that my inquiries on your Facebook page were being completely ignored even though other members were posting pictures, messages, etc during the same period. You don't return calls to your mobile phone, office phone, messenger, or facebook page. Even to this day (4 months later), no response has been received. At no point was i rude, abrupt, or disrespectful...If your not open, then fair enough. But at least have the decency to either advertise the fact, or change your message on your contact numbers over this period to inform people. As proud descendants, guardians, and tour operators of a site that predates most ancient global civilizations, I am surprised that it was not accessible during a period when literally thousands of tourists are in the area. It is my opinion that this would be the best time to offer your service and share your heritage.William.

Local indigenous guides give amazing insight to culture and impact of colonisation through lived experience. Very engaging and interactive

Amazing experience!! What an untapped gem of an area and an Organisation! My family & I live in an area that can claim the title of one of the oldest aquacultural farming communities in the world but not only can we boast about it, we can visit a 6,600 year old site where eels were trapped & traded with neighbouring Communities. The Tour Guides were extremely informative and enthusiastic and the orientation centre is full of photos, information, replica traps, channels & implements. I plan to send all visitors & guests down to visit the Centre & experience the tours on offer at the Tyrendarra Indigenous protected area, the Byaduk Caves or to Mt Eccles. Good luck with your submission to have the site UNESCO World Heritage listed!
